Mini Mac Laptop: Fact or Fiction?
If one is reading this article, perhaps one is checking the veracity of the existence of the Mini Mac laptop. The official word it is it does not exist. There are offhand reports though that a certain computer engineer by the name of Peter Green who managed to turn a Mac Mini into a portable Mini Mac Laptop.
Back in 2006, Peter Green started a project displaying his eagerness and sense of ingenuity by playing with a Mac Mini and turning it into a portable laptop. He installed a mine keyboard, small track pad, a 3-hour battery pack on his first project. The project also includes a foldaway 8-inch LCD screen that Mr. Green equipped in his project. The result of his ingenuity is a Mac Mini laptop that is more portable than most iBooks. As of now, Mr. Green is trying to create a compact version of the new Mac Book. It is called the Mac Mini Portable MKIII. This version is the tablet edition of the first Mini Mac laptop he created. He put a touch screen and a Li-ion cell together this time. It is powered by an Intel Core Solo 1.5 GHz. He always updates his website about the details on how to rig your desktop computer and turn it into a mini Mac laptop.
If one is not into creating their own laptops and has the budget for Apple devices then avail of the latest Mac Book Air and iPad. The Apple family welcomes two interesting addition to their growing inventory, the iPad and the Mac Book Air. The Mac Book Air, released in 2008 is like an anorexic laptop, it is very thin. The main reason it is created is for its portability. People on the go prefer this product because it’s lightweight and thin, making it easy to carry around. While an iPad, is to compete with the net books created by its PC competitors.
